Sumac

Sumac (also known as 'zatar') is a spice that comes  from the dried berries of the sumac plant, native to Mediterranean,  Middle Eastern and Central Asian regions. It's aroma is mild with a tang  and goes well when added to meat marinades, vegetables, casseroles,  sauces or dressings.
